Representative Riley to host Meet and Greet for Lauren Staley-Ferry

Saturday, September 30

The Loft Restaurant & Bar

1336 Main Street, Crete, IL  60417

Noon – 2:00 p.m.

You are cordially invited to join myself and Will County Board Member, Laurie Summers for a Meet and Greet for Lauren Staley-Ferry.

Lauren is currently a Will County Board member representing the 9th District in Joliet.  Lauren was first elected to the board in 2014. She currently serves on the Executive Committee, Finance Committee, and Legislative & Policy Committee.  In 2016, Lauren was chosen by her peers to take a leadership role on the Will County board as minority whip.

Lauren and I have worked together on many fronts in the past, including our support of progressive candidates in Will County.  The County has not had a Democratic clerk in over 80 years.   The County Clerk has many responsibilities, one of the main ones is ensuring elections are fair and open to all voters.  We need to ensure this office becomes Democratic in the next election.   Lauren believes in the principles of fairness and inclusion.  We believe she will be the person you can trust in this very important position.

Join us for pizza and beverages to hear from Lauren Staley-Ferry and her run for Will County Clerk.  Kindly RSVP by Friday, September 29 by emailing news@alriley.com or calling our campaign number at (708) 406-6216.  Feel free to invite your neighbors and friends to this important event.

Petitions for myself, Lauren Staley-Ferry and other candidates I am supporting will be on site for you to sign.  We would also encourage you to take petitions to help us get Democratic candidates on the ballot for the March 2018 primary.

This is a free event, however donations are encouraged. The money will be spent on this great progressive candidate’s campaign.
