Mendoza to Headline Staley-Ferry Event

During the Women of Action Forum at the Pipefitters Local 597 Training Facility in Mokena, IL, Comptroller Susana Mendoza invited attendees to a November 15th event where she will be the special guest in support of Lauren Staley-Ferry, Will County Board Member and candidate to be the next Will County Clerk. “Let’s help elect Lauren Staley-Ferry as the next Will County Clerk and the first Democrat to hold that seat in 80 years,” Mendoza said. She continued, “Lauren is a committed public servant who will bring fresh ideas to the Clerk’s Office. Join me in supporting Lauren at an event for her on November 15th!”

Staley-Ferry has decided to give up her County Board seat to seek the office of Will County Clerk. “I am so honored to have the support of our Illinois Comptroller, Susana Mendoza! I met Susana last year during her campaign and am inspired by her story, her toughness, and her energy,” Staley-Ferry said.

Details of the November 15 event are still being finalized. An announcement is forthcoming later this week, on Lauren Staley-Ferry’s website, www.lauren4clerk.com.
