Lauren and her boyfriend Chris, live in Shorewood with her son Matthew and his 2 daughters. Matthew is 12 years old and about to be in 7th grade at the Cathedral of St. Raymond School in Joliet. He loves playing baseball in the spring and fall. Lauren and Chris love spending time with all of their children’s activities and are looking forward to a full summer.
Lauren in May 2017, after 11 years, left her full time career at CapitalOne, in Chicago, in order to be able to focus on her duties serving in elected office. She felt that she could not continue to maintain her own high standards either as an employee or as a public servant if she had continued in both capacities.
